Speaking to Billboard magazine, Leto branded the character a “beautiful disaster” before saying how comics are evolving to include characters that are almost Shakespearean in their sSQ new 52cope.

“I’m trying to gain a lot of weight,” he told the outlet while eating vegan tacos. “It means I have to eat every couple of hours — and I’m terrible at eating a lot.

“The opportunity to take on this nearly Shakespearean character — that’s what graphic novels and comic books are becoming, right? This beautiful disaster of a character — what a big challenge.”

David Ayer will direct Suicide Squad, which also stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, and Cara Delevingne. Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis and Jesse Eisenberg are also in various stages of negotiations to join the cast. Filming begins in April, with a planned release date of August 5, 2016.

Capcom x Sega: Worlds Unite

Worlds Unite -- Sonic & Mega manLast year, Archie Comics announced that they were planning another crossover between their Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog comics in 2015. The big twist with Worlds Unite is that the traditional Mega Man and Sonic casts will be joined by characters from the Mega Man X and Sonic Boom games. But as it turns out, even that just scratches the surface of this epic crossover. World Unite will bring together a number of popular franchises from both Sega and Capcom.

Characters revealed: Sonic, Mega Man, Mega Man X, Sticks, Alex Kidd, Billy Hatcher, Nina (Breath of Fire), Viewtiful Joe,Nights, Tyris Flare (Golden Axe), Red Arremer (Ghosts ‘n Goblins), Amaterasu (Okami), Ryu, Vyse (Skies of Arcadia), Base Wing (Panzer Dragoon), Gore Magala (Monster Hunter 4)

This endeavour looks to be the revival these two characters desperately need to be portrayed properly for core fans
